Well, after the silk velvet was had dryed, I saw the result. It is a beautifull color, but it isn’t the exact one I had imagined. So I took three little pieces of my velevt and made some tests with Acid Dye. I only dyed the silk back of the velvet and the one with the silver grey back is my favorite. I made one with a ecru color, too, but It doesn’t really look different to the original color. Tomorrow I will dye the whole fabric with the silver grey and I hope it will work for the yardage, too…On the picture you can see the three pieces, my favorite one on the left side. But it’s always difficult to try to catch the real color.

I did make a test with color run remover. I thought this stuff will change the color slowly, so maybe I could make it a bit lighter. Well, after only two seconds, my velvet was yellow!! So, that changed my mind with the lighting up.
Liebe Grüße
